Dewey F. Yates, 79, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 3/6/2010 at 7:23 PM at Mason Heath Care Center, Warsaw, Indiana. He was born on April 13, 1930 in East Point, Kentucky.

Dewey was born to Tom and Katie (Spencer) Yates. He was a resident of Warsaw for 59 years. He married Bethel Gibson, whom preceded him in death in 1990. Dewey then married Josephine Reffitt Ousley Haywood on October 26, 1990 in Warsaw.
He retired from Creighton Brothers Inc., Warsaw as a Layer Manager. He was a member of Water of Life Church, Silver Lake, Indiana.
He is survived by his Wife; Josephine Reffitt Ousley Haywood, Warsaw, Indiana

Services will be held at Pentecostal Lighthouse Church, Warsaw, Indiana on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 11:00 am . Calling hours will be 2:00 – 5:00 pm and a church service at 7:00 pm at the church on Tuesday, March 9, 2010. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana.

McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana is in charge of arrangements. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church, 125 Fawley Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580
