Donald H. Moffett

Donald H Moffett, age 81, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Monday, January 21, 2019 at 2:26 PM in Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw. He was born February 22, 1937 in St. Johnsbury, VT to Ralph and Pauline (Labshire) Moffett.

Donald faithfully served his Country in the United States Army from 1959 to 1961 in the United States Army as PFC(T) E-3. He was united in marriage to Eleanor Olson in Springfield, MA on August 12, 1961. He was employed by The Dalton Foundries of Warsaw in Quality Control with 32 years of service from 1972 to 2004 when he retired.

Donald was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Warsaw.

He was an avid stamp collector.

Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Moffett of Warsaw, children Karen Moffett, Karl Moffett and Donna (Andy) Corp all of Warsaw, a brother Dave (Joyce) Moffett of Bradenton, FL and grandchildren Zach (Heather) Corp of Larwill, Renae Corp of Warsaw and great-grandchild Aiden Corp of Larwill. Preceded by parents and 1great-grandchild.

A celebration of Donald’s life will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church, Warsaw. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Church prior to the service. Pastor Richard “Dick” Dahlquist will officiate the service.

Interment will be private in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw with Military Rites conducted by American Legion Post # 49 and V.F.W. Post 1126.

The family is requesting that memorial donations be made to Fellowship Baptist Church, 1838 E. Kosciusko Drive, Warsaw, IN 46582.
