Isa Edith Smith, age 89, of Warsaw, IN passed away Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 1:41 AM at Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester IN. She was born May 10, 1922 in Stark, West Virginia, to Jessie and Emma (Clark) Pettit. She was a residence of Morehead, KY most of her childhood then moving to Warsaw, IN.
She married Robert Smith on October 24, 1942 in Dayton, OH
She was a member of The United Methodist Church, UMC WomenÂ’s Club,a Quilting and Home EC club of Kosciusko County.She was an Ambassador at the Gardens of Lake City, Warsaw. She retired from Kimble Glass, Warsaw.
She enjoyed quilting and gardening.

Isa was survived by her daughters Beverly (and spouse Phillip) Surface of Mentone, IN and Barbara (and spouse Donald) Puckett of Warsaw. Grandchildren Terry (and spouse Patricia) Puckett of Claypool, IN, Gary (and spouse Tricia) Puckett of Washington, IN, Stephanie Puckett of Warsaw, IN, Sharon (and spouse Chris) Kindig of Warsaw, IN, Laurie (and spouse Harold) Carlin of Mentone, IN, and Teresa (and spouse Peter) Jones of Clinton, NY.
16 great grandchildren and 9 great- great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 2 grandsons Robert Surface and Donald Puckett Jr. 1 great-great grandson and a great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 3, 2011 at 12:00 PM at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw
Visitation will be 2 HOURS PRIOR (10 AM to 12:00 PM) to the service at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw
Burial will be in Violet Cemetery, Goshen, IN
Reverend Amber Karkosky-Litten of the Mentone United Methodist Church will officiate the service
