Mary Beth Leake, 82, of Warsaw passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. in Millers Merry Manor, Warsaw. She was born on November 3, 1931 to F.B. and Gladys (Yenor) Light in Warsaw, Indiana.
Mary was united in marriage to F.D. Mouse Leake in October of 1951. She retired from Sun Metal after fifty years and she also retired from Explorer Van Conversion in 2006 both of Warsaw. She was a member of St. Annes Episcopal Church, Warsaw. She was a member of The American Legion Auxiliary Post #49, Warsaw. She was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge # 802 B.P.OE., Warsaw.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Jan (Ted) Carter of Leesburg, Indiana; sons, Kim (Linda) Leake of Sholow, Arizona and Rodney A. Leake of Pierceton, Indiana; sisters Mert Helton and Kate Jones both of Warsaw; a sister-in- law, Martha Light of Warsaw; grandchildren, Shoshanah Earle, Derrick Leake, Larabeth Ryan, Amelia Leake, Ethan Leake and Austin Leake; great grandchildren, Ian, Taliah and Jayden Leake.
She is preceded in death by her husband, F.D. Mouse Leake in 2007, sisters, Geraldine Foles and Ginny Davis; and a brother Don Light.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
There will be a funeral service held on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. The Reverend Corinne Hodges will officiate the service.
There will be a private Interment in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
