Pauline Hoskins

PAULINE HOSKINS LEFT THIS WORLD, BOUND FOR THE GLORY LAND, TO SPEND ETERNITY WITH HER SAVIOR, ON SEPTEMBER 3, 2018 AT 12:10 PM AT THE AGE OF 90. PAULINE WAS BORN JULY 9, 1928 TO LEROY AND BESSIE LOZIER ANDERSON.

SHE SPENT HER ENTIRE LIFE IN WARSAW.  SHE GRADUATED FROM WARSAW HIGH SCHOOL IN 1946 AND MANCHESTER COLLEGE IN 1950. SHE MARRIED WOODROW “SPECK” HOSKINS ON AUGUST 7, 1949 AND HE PRECEDED HER IN DEATH ON MARCH 15, 1998. ALSO, PRECEDING HER IN DEATH WERE HER PARENTS; HER BROTHER, RICHARD ANDERSON; AND HER COUSIN WHO WAS RAISED AS HER SISTER, WILMA GROVE.

SHE WAS A FAITHFUL MEMBER OF THE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF WARSAW. HER PARENTS TOOK HER TO` CHURCH WHEN SHE WAS 2 WEEKS OLD AND HER LIFE WAS ONE OF SERVING THE LORD. SHE TAUGHT VARIOUS CLASSES AND ACTIVITES AT FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH AND TAUGHT PRE SCHOOL SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR 46 YEARS.  HER LOVE OF MUSIC LED HER TO DIRECT THE CHOIR AT FIRST BAPTIST FOR 24 YEARS.

SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER SON, TIMOTHY (SUE ANN) HOSKINS OF GREENFIELD INDIANA, HER DAUGHTERS, GAIL (PHILIP) WONDERLY OF WARSAW AND SUE (MARK) WEAVER OF WARSAW.  8 GRANDCHILDREN-JOHN, ADAM (JENNIFER), ANDREW (MINDY) & IAN (BETH) HOSKINS, PAUL(VALERIE) WONDERLY, SETH (MIRANDA) AND ANDREW WEAVER AND BRONWEN WEAVER-MEYER AND 17 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN-ADAN, KADE, MARISA, ANDERSON JOY, GAVIN, GREYSON, QUINN, LINDSEY, ASHLEIGH, MACKENZIE, OCTAVIA, MIRANDA, CADENCE, AVA, MATTHEW, JESSA AND TYLER.  IN ADDITION, SHE IS SURVIVED BY MANY NIECES AND NEPHEWS.

SHE LOVED HER FAMILY.  WHEN THEY HURT, SHE HURT.  WHEN THEY GRIEVED, SHE GRIEVED.  WHEN THEY WERE DISCOURAGED, SHE ENCOURGED.

HER VISITATION WILL BE AT MCHATTON-SADLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, WARSAW ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2018 FROM 9:00 AM TO NOON.   THE FUNERAL SERVICE WILL FOLLOW IN THE FUNERAL CHAPEL AT 12:00 NOON WITH BURIAL IN OAKWOOD CEMETERY, WARSAW.  OFFICIATING THE SERVICE WILL BE ETHEL ANDERSON, HER SISTER-IN-LAW; STEVE RAHN, FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH AND JEFF PFEIFER, WARSAW COMMUNITY CHURCH.
