Edward "Junior" Wilson

Edward "Junior" Wilson, 87, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 3/1/2011 at 11:02 PM at Miller's Merry Manor – Warsaw. He was born on March 7, 1923 in Connersville, Indiana.

His parents, William Edward and Lillian Mary (Hamilton) Wilson
He moved to the Warsaw Area in 1971 from Knightstown, Indiana
He married Barbara Stacey on March 25, 1973 in New Castle, Indiana
He worked for United Telephone Company for 42 years retiring in 1983 as a Lineman and later as an Engineer.
He was member of the Knightstown Christian Church and Warsaw Community Church.
Edward was a member of the K of P (Knights of Pythias) in Knightstown, Indiana, The American Legion Post 253, North Webster, Indiana, Independent Telephone Association and Chapman Lake Association.

Edward was a WW II veteran during the European Theatre serving in General PattonÂ’s 3rd Army
He was a an avid fisherman

He is survived by his wife: Barbara Wilson of Warsaw
3 children: Debra Jo Craft (and companion Tim Carpenter) of Warsaw
Michael (and spouse Tracy) Wilson of Warsaw
Patricia (and spouse Paul) Zerr of Gilbert, Arizona
1 sister: Jeanne Morse of Liberty, Indiana
1 brother-in-law Lee Stacey of New Castle, Indiana
10 grandchildren: Riley, Morgan, Kaylin, Jennifer, Julia, Robbie, Gage, Peyton, Jennifer and Patrick
11 great grand children
Preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Wanda Jean Wilson

Pastor Denny Wilson will conduct the services.

Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel – Warsaw on Saturday March 5, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Calling hours will be 5-8 PM on Friday March 4, 2011.

Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery – Warsaw, IN.
