
Emily Davis, 81, of Bradenton, Florida and formerly of Warsaw passed away at 7:08 AM on May 8, 2017 in Westminster Manor in Bradenton. On February 15, 1936 in Orrville, Ohio she was born to Richard C and Catherine (Irvin) Atkinson.
On August 30, 1957 in Cincinnati, Ohio she was united in marriage to G. Edmund Davis who preceded her in death. She worked as a Bailiff in the Court System and had been a school teacher. She was a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church and a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
She is survived by her son; Todd (and spouse Paulette) Davis of Warsaw, daughter; Beth Alvin of Denver, Colorado along with 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters; Judy Hart of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Kit Nisam of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Elizabeth Cross of Cincinnati, Ohio and a brother Richard Atkinson of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
She was preceded by her husband and her parents.
A memorial service will be take place on Thursday, June 29, at 10:30am at McHatton Sadler Funeral Chapel, presided over by Pastor Andrew Morton of the Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
