Eugene Ramey

Eugene Ramey, age 78, of Warsaw, IN passed away Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 12:50 PM in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne IN. He was born July 5, 1933 in Floyd County, KY to Arthur and Mary (Campbell) Ramey.
He was a lifetime residence of Kosciusko County.
He married Wanda Hale on May 12, 1961 in Louisville, KY. He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church Of Kosciusko County. Eugene retired from DePuy as a Quality Control Inspector.

Eugene is survived by wife, Wanda Ramey of Warsaw, one son, Charles Ramey of Pierceton, one daughter Regina Ramey of Warsaw, one grandson, Sean Stabler of Warsaw, one sister, Rushe Friend of Venice, FL, one brother, Thomas (and spouse Georgia) Ramey of Warsaw.
Several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Eugene enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandson. He was devoted to serving the Lord.
He served in the US Air Force from 1952 to 1959. During his active years he was an Aircraft Electrician and was very proud of his military service.
He was a past member of the Warsaw American Legion Post 49

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 11:00 AM at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw
Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw

The Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw with Military Honor by the Indiana ARNG Honor Guard, Warsaw American Legion Post 49 and Warsaw VFW Post 1126

Pastor Terry Bradford (First Free Will Baptist Church) will officiate the services.
