Frances M. Shriver

Frances M. Shriver, 87, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 11/22/2009 at 3:07 pm at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Indiana. She was born on July 11, 1922 in Monequet, Indiana. Frances was born to Albert and Ruth (Parks) Heckman and was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. Frances graduated from Atwood High School in 1940. She married Charles Shriver on July 11, 1942. He preceded her in death on August 17, 2009.Frances retired from Zimmer in 1987. She was a past member of Clunette Methodist Church and Warsaw Trinity United Methodist Church. She also was a member and past president of Warsaw Elks Auxillary and past member of Moose Lodge Auxillary and American Legion Post #49 Auxillary.Frances enjoyed camping in Brown County, Indiana and loved dancing and listening to Frank and the Hy Times.She is survived by 1 Son; Rick Shriver, Warsaw, Indiana1 Daughter; Debbie (and husband Bob) Sharp, Nappanee, Indiana1 Brother; Stanley Heckman, Harrison, Michigan3 Grandchildren; Kimberly Shriver, Fishers, IndianaJoshua (and wife Ngoc) Sharp, Goshen, IndianaJason (and wife Jennifer) Begley, Gilbert, Arizona5 Great GrandchildrenShe is also preceded in death by her Daughter, Jodi Shriver and 1 Brother. Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 10;00 am with Pastor Tom Schiefer officiating.. Calling hours will be 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral chapel on Tuesday, November 24, 2009. Burial will be at Leesburg Cemetery, Leesburg, Indiana. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
