James E. Ebersole, age 69 of Greenwood, Indiana and formerly of Warsaw, Indiana and New Town, North Dakota passed away Saturday July 7, 2012 at his daughter's residence. On October 14, 1942, he was born to George Moses and Mary Kathrynn (Beach) Ebersole in Woodbury, Pennsylvania. James married Mary Rose Dunkleberger in March of 1963 in Warsaw. James was a supervisor for 30 years for New Town Water Department and formerly City of Warsaw. He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia (and spouse Chad) Shaffner, Greenwood; son, Jim (and spouse Debb) Ebersole, Indianapolis; six grandchildren, Kathryn Marie Shaffner, Greenwood, Christopher Shaffner, Greenwood, John Lehman, Fort Wayne, Shaun Lehman, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Danielle Lehman, Indianapolis and Shannon Hawthorn, Indianapolis; three great grandchildren, Johnathon Clash, Lillian Hawthorn and Elizabeth Hawthorn all of Indianapolis; a nephew, Lee Dunkleberger, Greenwood; two brothers, John Ebersole, Warsaw and Paul Ebersole, New Enterprise, Pennsylvania; four sisters, Glea Foor, Clarion, Pennsylvania, Gail Svendsen, Carmel, Joyce McConnell, Warsaw and Shirley Giansante, Pennsburg, Pennsylvania. James was preceded in death by his wife and one brother. Visitation hours will be from 9:00 - 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A graveside service will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
