
Jean Kathleen Tuka, 86 of Warsaw, Indiana died on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 5:25 p.m. in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Indiana.
She was born on August 10, 1924 in Humboldt, Iowa to Arthur Charles and Genevieve (Thompson) Cunningham.
She graduated from Grand Junction High School, Grand Junction Colorado in 1942.
She married James Charles Tuka on September 28, 1944 in Denver Colorado. (James was a former Warsaw Police Officer) He passed away in 1998.
Jean worked for Kosciusko County Assessors Office and Kosciusko County Clerks Office in the 1960s
She is survived by her daughter: Jeanne Schutz of Warsaw, Indiana; 2 sons: James (Gerdi) Tuka, Jr. of Arvada, Colorado and John (Debbie) Tuka of Denver, Colorado
A sister: Sally (Paul) Ciberay of Denver, Colorado.
8 grandchildren: Amy (Nick) Melton of Warsaw; Adam (Jill) Schutz of Arlington Heights, Illinois; Angie (Chris) Edmundson, Jim (Hang) Tuka, Teresa (Andy) Biller all of Arvada, Colorado; Jason (Rebecca) Tuka, Traci Tuka, Jennifer (Richard) Trujillo all of Denver, Colorado.

3 nieces and 1 nephew of Denver Colorado

Jean enjoyed card stamping, playing keyboard and organ; reading, sports, computer surfing, game playing, emailing and facebook she also enjoyed oil painting and crocheting.
Visitation will be with family and friends on Sunday May 1, 2011 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel-Warsaw.
There will be a Funeral Mass and burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver Colorado at a later date.
