WARSAW — Jeanette Marie Fenton, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. She was 77.
Jeanette was born June 17, 1937, in Hillsdale, Mich., to Alvine and Wilma (Barber) Diemer.
She recently celebrated her 58th wedding anniversary with her beloved husband, Roger Charles Fenton, whom she married April 27, 1957.
For 15 years, Jeanette worked part-time as a secretary at Kelly Corp. while raising two daughters, Kim Michele and Pamela Jean.
Friends and family were Jeanette's love and joy. She and Roger enjoyed traveling across the state to attend their grandchildren's various events and to Gulf Shores, Ala., where they vacationed during the winter months.
When she wasn't traveling or shopping at craft stores, Jeanette enjoyed scrapbooking, card making and spending time in her garden. She was an active member of the Kosciusko County Master Gardener Association, Town and County Garden Club and the Country Friends Home Economics Club.
Jeanette will be greatly missed by her two daughters, Kim (Scott) Crothers, of Syracuse, and Pam (Ray) Stephens, of New Haven; six grandchildren, Daniel Greenwood II and Diana Greenwood, both of Fort Wayne, Julie (Travis) Beer, of Nappanee, Jennifer Crothers, of Fishers, and Riley Stephens and Jake Stephens, both of New Haven; and two great-grandchildren, Clare Taylor and Evie Greenwood, of Fort Wayne.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
