Linda K. Spooner

Linda K. Spooner, 54, of Charlestown, Indiana formerly of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 12/28/2010 at 2:38 am at her residence. She was born on September 14, 1956 in Warsaw, Indiana.

Linda was the daughter of Ned and Marsha (Kelsey) Smith. She moved to Jeffersonville in 1981 and then returned to Warsaw in 2000.
On October 14, 1986, she married Miles C. Spooner in Louisville, Kentucky. He preceded her in death on September 16, 2008.
Linda worked for R.R. Donnelley and Sons Inc., Warsaw in the early 1980's and also for I.C.I. Ammunition Plant in Charlestown for 4 years. She was a School Bus Driver for Warsaw Community Schools and Greater Clark County Community Schools.
Linda graduated from Warsaw High School in 1974 and from Ivy Tech in 2004.
She was member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw.
Linda is survived by a daughter; Cortney Spooner, Warsaw
3 sons; Corry Spooner, Fort Wayne
Gabe (and spouse Kendra) Tucker, Henryville
Griffin (and spouse Alycia) Tucker, Warsaw
sister; Kelly Smith, Fort Wayne
brother; Hal Smith, Warsaw
4 grandchildren; Peyton Tucker, Dortha Tucker, Braden Tucker and Claire Kay Dove.
Linda was a loving Mother and Grandma.

Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw on Monday, January 3, 2011 at 1:00 pm with Father Phil DeVolder officiating.. Calling hours will be 1:00 – 5:00 pm at the funeral chapel on Sunday, January 2, 2011. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana.
