She was born on August 17, 1937 in Mishawaka, Indiana to John and Helen (Cowan) Grim.
She moved to Middle Point, Ohio December 1996 from Warsaw, Indiana.
Marjorie married Francis Junior Shafer on May 10, 1959. He preceded in September 1997.
She worked for Arnoholts in Warsaw, Holiday Bowl as a waitress.
She was a member of the Salvation Army and Salvation Army Church.
Her interest were church choir, bell ringing and playing the trumpet for the Salvation Army, Land-o-Lakes CB Club, embroidering, making jewelry, putting puzzles together, playing card, setting up at flea markets, playing bingo and fishing with her grand mother
Marjorie was survived by her son: Max (and spouse Sue) Shafer of Goshen, Indiana
2 daughters: Lori (and spouse Scott) Culp of Atwood, Indiana and Angela Shepherd (and companion Ralph Sutton)
2 brothers: Gene (and spouse Karen) Grim of Claypool, Indiana and Richard (and spouse Donna) Grim of Rochester, Indiana.
9 grandchildren

A graveside services will be held at Oakwood Cemetery-Warsaw on Tuesday May 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery Warsaw, Indiana.
Pastor Bob Brown will conduct the service.
