Norma Jean Robinson, 83 of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 8:40 am Wednesday, February 17, 2016 in her residence.
On May 1, 1932, she was born in Warsaw, Indiana to George and Daisy Slater. She was united in marriage to Loyd Robinson on March 8, 1986 in Warsaw. He preceded her in death.
Jean lived most of her life in Warsaw, also living in Florida for a time. She was a homemaker who enjoyed embroidery, watching t.v., cooking and cleaning. She also enjoyed listening to music and going out and socializing. Jean attended God’s Highway to Heaven Church, Warsaw and then Grover Oak Life Church, Winona Lake.
She is survived by her step children, step grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Jean was also preceded in death by her parents, her sister Joan Kilmer and four brothers, Cecil, Paul, Lee and Sam Slater.
A funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday, February 23, 2016 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Doug Lemon officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
A visitation will be from 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm at the funeral chapel.
