Sammy Ealey

Sammy Ealey, age 60, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Wednesday January 4, 2012 at 4:48 PM in his residence. He was born January 15, 1951 in Prestonsburg, KY to Sam and Naoma (Kendrick) Ealey.

On February 13, 1970 he was united in marriage to Dean Hall. He was a retired Foundryman and formerly employed by Archer Foundry, Dalton Foundry and Warsaw Foundry. He was the Owner of The Lawn Mower Shop Claypool, IN and affectionately known as the “The Lawn Mower Man”. Sam was a Warsaw, In resident since 1969. He was Co-Founder, Overseer, Music Director and Director of Maintenance of Early Apostolic Bible Training Center Claypool, IN. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife Dean Ealey of Warsaw; daughters Michelle Lee Worley of Warsaw, IN, Creassa (Spouse Walter, Jr.) Blackburn of Mentone, IN; grandson Blake Bayz of Mentone, IN; honorary mother Mary Kendrick of Warsaw, IN; sisters Natalie (spouse Deed) Elliott and Yvonne (spouse Donnie) Goble both of Prestonsburg, KY; uncles Delmar Kendrick, Carl Kendrick, Jr., and Harold Goble; aunts Mildred Crace, Amy Conley, and Betty Kendrick. A grandson Lance Michael Worley, brother David Carl Ealey, and his parents preceded him.

Dean will remember him as a wonderful husband, Michelle as Superdaddy and Blake as Heroic Popaw.

Visitation hours will be at Early Apostolic Bible Training Center, 6800 South State Road 15, Claypool, Indiana from 4:00 – 9:00 PM Saturday, January 7, 2012 with a music service at 7:00 pm and also from 3:00 – 7:00 pm Sunday, January 8, 2012 with a evening service at 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be at Early Apostolic Bible Training Center, 6800 South State Road 15, Claypool, Indiana on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 11:00 am with Pastor Dean Ealey officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
