Treva M. Hoffer, 98 of Winona Lake, Indiana went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 6:16 am Saturday, October 31, 2015 in Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake, Indiana.
On February 14, 1917, she was born in Clunette, Indiana to William and Nancy (Hall) Martz. She was united in marriage to John Hoffer on June 15, 1935 in Bourbon, Indiana who preceded her in death on August 1, 1997.
Treva lived the first sixty years of her life in Kosciusko County, Indiana until moving to Florida, where she lived for thirty years. She was a homemaker and a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Atwood.
She is survived by her son, Douglas (and spouse Phyllis) Hoffer, Warsaw; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Hoffer, Warsaw; nine grandchildren, Steven (and spouse Mary) Hoffer, Roseau, Minnesota, Kathy Horrall, Chesapeake, Virginia, Darlene (and spouse Brad) Whaley, Warsaw, Michael Kelley, Dothan, Alabama, Brett Hoffer, Fort Wayne, Jennifer Schlegel, Fort Wayne, Lori Verkamp, Jasper, Kelli Anderson, Sarasota, Florida and Stephanie Stovall, Sarasota, Florida. Treva is also survived by three step grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, eight step great grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren and three step great-great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her son Larry F. Hoffer and her grandson, Jon W. Hoffer.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 pm Friday, November 13, 2015 in Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Atwood with Pastor Steven Hoffer and Pastor Mike Beezley officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
