William Davis

William Davis, 85, of Leesburg, Indiana, died on 1/18/2009 at 8:45 pm at at his residence,. He was born on January 13, 1924 in Albion, Indiana.

William was born to Cary A. and Ann (Mazure) Davis. He married Patricia Buck on May 24, 1952 in Green Hill, Indiana.
He lived in Warsaw from 1959 to 1969. He was a pilot in the U.S. Army Air Corp. during World War II. William graduated from Purdue University in 1950. He was a Teacher and Coach for Albion School System and Principal for Montpelier Schools, Warsaw Community Schools and Fort Wayne Wayne Schools, retiring in 1985.
William was a member of First United Methodist Church, Warsaw, Indiana.
He is survived by his

William is preceded in death by 3 Brothers and 2 Sisters.

Services will be held at First United Methodist Church, Warsaw, Indiana on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 11:00 am with Pastor David Heim officiating.. Calling hours will be 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral chapel on Wednesday, January 21, 2009. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, Indiana at 2:00 pm Thursday, January 22, 2009.
